We're Bringing Bernie Back

Last week, Sen. Bernie Sanders and organizers of the Women's March experienced a major backlash after Sen. Sanders was announced as an opener of the Women's Convention.
Critics say that Sen. Sanders should not be front-lining a Women's conference, as he is a white man who is not in a major oppressed group. Other critics claim that Sen. Sanders should not be there at all because he, apparently, ran a 'sexist' campaign against Hillary Clinton in 2016, a slander that has no merit.
To claim that any man, woman, or other who challenges a woman and calls her out on her faults during a competitive primary race is sexist... is sexist.
In my opinion, Sen. Sanders is more of a feminist than most women I know who claim to be. Not only is his platform good for women, but it is also an intersectional feminist one as the bills for the fight for 15, universal healthcare, college for all, among others, are beneficial to women. I'm glad to see a politician like him represent women and issues that affect me because he is a true ally.
Shop our 'Bernie's Back' collection to show support for the feminist values that he, and many other progressives share!
