Show Your Pride!

The month of June is International Pride Month, when the impact and influence of the LGBTQ+ community is not only recognized, but celebrated.

To have pride is to exert a positive and wholesome approach to fight discrimination, hatred, violence, and marginalization towards the LGBTQ+ community. This month, along with every other day of the year, is a time to demonstrate support and encouragement for gender and sexual minorities.

In comparison to recent years, this time period is crucial towards supporting those who identify as LGBTQ+, and for those who are not identified with a label. As we are faced with an American administration, legislative government, and socio-cultural norms and behaviors that oppress LGBTQ+ people and their rights, now is the time to show your pride, be a good ally, speak out, and stand up.
