WTF, Los Angeles?

Up to 200,000 people had to evacuate, hundreds of homes have been destroyed, about 500 acres of land were burned, and one person died because of the Skirball fire. An illegal cooking fire is what sparked this catastrophe but let's not pretend like we don't know what really caused this.

Global. Warming.

While the West Coast has always had a wildfire season, this one is extremely abnormal. The past year saw an increase of hot and dry weather conditions among the West Coast, which led to the drought that makes forest fires thrive.

Climate change is posing an enormous threat to public safety. The most tragic part is that American lawmakers, the majority party, and the President of the United States do nothing to deal with the inevitability of climate change.

All life on Earth survives on a cycle. Because of man-made climate change, the ecosystem is dying, and it's going to affect us, too. 

If only the GOP, cared about preserving life as much as they claim they do. Instead of worshiping the money that they get from denying climate change, the major party of America needs to start listening to the warnings of 97% of the world's scientists. Or else, we're Fucked.
