Over the past few weeks, North America has seen an influx of unusual and destructive natural disasters.
While Hurricane Harvey and Hurricane Irma were putting the Southern parts of the continent under water, damaging homes, and leaving many injured and wounded, the Northwest saw an unexpected increase of severe wildfires. Meanwhile, last week, Mexico was victim to a magnitude 8.1 earthquake.
The severity of these natural disasters is not a coincidence. Reporters and scientists say that 2017 temperatures reached new highs and broke new records. The increasing severity of natural disasters is undeniably a part of global warming and climate change.
As President Donald Trump, his administration, and Congress deny the legitimacy of climate change and global warming for monetary gain, Mother Nature continues to prove their claims wrong, and scientists' statements right.
