Gun Control. Now.

On Tuesday night in Las Vegas, Nevada, the deadliest mass shooting in United States history took place, leaving over 50 people dead, and over 500 wounded.
Right now, I am looking at Congress to treat this as one of the worst domestic terror attacks of our time, because it is.
Our majority leaders will be silent on this and will give us nothing but thoughts and prayers, which do nothing to actually save people’s lives and prevent this from happening again. We can’t fully control the intentions of evil people. However, our representatives can do something about it, they just chose not to. To be clear, this isn't about protecting the 2nd Amendment. There is no American politician who wants to completely abolish your right to bear arms. This is a deeper problem..
Let this be a reminder that the money our leadership gets from the NRA is more important than the innocent lives lost to gun violence. We can’t overcome this as long as politicians stop taking money from organizations like the NRA. Money runs the world, compassion doesn’t.
Resist our leaderships' love for greed over saving people's lives. There needs to be gun control reform in America, and there is no question about it. Mass shootings can be preventable, so let your voices be heard. Call your representatives, organize, protest, and donate your blood to the wounded in need.
