Welcome to The Young Turks (“TYT”) merchandise shopping website, which is located at www.shoptyt.com (the “Website”). This Terms of Service (“TOS”) contain the terms and conditions that govern your use of the Website. This TOS describes your rights and responsibilities and what you can expect from TYT. Use of the Website constitutes your acceptance of and agreement to this TOS.
TYT reserves the right to add, delete and/or modify any of the terms and conditions contained in this TOS, at any time and in its sole discretion, by posting a change notice or a new agreement on the Website. If any modification is unacceptable to you, your only recourse is to not use the Website and the TYT Service. Your continued use of the Website following posting of a change notice or new TOS on the Website will constitute binding acceptance of the changes.
Eligibility. TYT will only knowingly provide the sales service to parties that can lawfully enter into and form contracts under applicable law. If you are under the age of 18, but at least 13 years of age, you may use the Website only under the supervision of a parent or legal guardian who agrees to be bound by this TOS. The Website is not intended for children under the age of 13.
Compliance with TOS and Applicable Law. You must comply with all of the terms and conditions of this TOS, the applicable agreements and policies referred to below, and all applicable laws, regulations and rules when you use the Website.
Dispute Resolution. If you have any questions about your order, please email firstname.lastname@example.org. All disputes arising out of, relating to or connected with these TOS or your use of any part of the Website should be resolved through communication with The Young Turks LLC via the email address email@example.com. If these communications don’t result in a resolution, the dispute will be exclusively resolved in Los Angeles, CA and in accordance with California law.
Shipping Locations. TYT ships to the United States, Canada and a select list of other countries.
Problems with Orders. If your merchandise does not arrive within 30 days of purchase, email firstname.lastname@example.org with purchase confirmation information and TYT will attempt to track down the shipment or re-order the merchandise.
Shipping Costs. Shipping costs vary based on the weight of the order, customs, type of shipping selected, and the final delivery address. Standard shipping within the United States is about $4 and $7. Shipping to addresses outside of the United States costs between $6 and $12 for a single shirt or poster. The price increases as you add more to your cart, or upgrade your shipping preferences. If you are ordering from the UK, please check with your local postal service to see if you will be charged an additional customs fee based on the price of your order. We cannot include that charge in the original shipping price, change the value of the merchandise in the customs information, or refund anyone for this charge. We apologize for any inconvenience. If the weight of a package exceeds a certain amount and requires a shipping upgrade that we cannot provide, it will not allow the order to go through. If this happens, separate your order into multiple purchases and they should go through.
Shipping Time. All orders take seven to 21 business days to be packed and shipped. From there it can take between three to 14 business days for delivery within the continental United States, and 10 to 90 business days for delivery in other countries. The packing and shipping process might take a little longer during sales or holidays.
Payment Issues. All of our payments are processed through third party payment processors. If your credit card is not being accepted, please check with your credit card company.
T-shirt size. If you would like guidance on the size of t-shirt to order, please check the size chart for width (http://www.americanapparel.net/sizing/size.asp?chart=mu.shirts®ion=US&lang=en), and this size chart for the length (http://www.americanapparel.net/garmentspecs/Index.asp?GarmentSpecID=tr401&l=1).
Purchase mistakes and Damage. If you made a mistake on your order, send a detailed email right away with the changes you would like to make. Please include your order number and the email address used to place the order. The sooner the email is sent, the better chance we have of catching it before it is shipped. If your order was received with damage, or is incorrect, email email@example.com and we’ll try to remedy the problem right away.
Returns. Merchandise can be returned within 30 days of the original shipping date. Customers are responsible for the return shipping costs. Once we receive the item, you will be refunded for the item minus the original shipping costs and the restocking fee.
Cancellations. If your order has not been shipped and the postage has not been printed, your order can be cancelled. If we do not catch your order before being shipped, you will have to return your item, and abide by all return policies.
Intellectual Property. Artwork and creative work printed on TYT merchandise is the intellectual property of The Young Turks LLC.
